Terms
Terms of Service
Effective date: March 15, 2026. These terms govern the use of StatusVanguard as currently offered through the website and admin platform.
1. Provider
StatusVanguard is operated by Shawez Ahmad, c/o Block Services, Stuttgarter Str. 106, 70736 Fellbach, Germany. Contact: support@statusvanguard.com.
2. Scope and customer group
StatusVanguard is a hosted status-page and monitoring service. These terms apply to the website, user accounts, admin tools, public status pages, and paid activations offered through the platform.
The service can be used for business, team, community, and private project use. Mandatory statutory consumer rights remain unaffected by these terms.
3. Accounts and responsibilities
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for content, configuration, and activity originating from your account.
- You may only monitor systems and publish content that you are authorized to use.
4. Acceptable use and content
- You may not use the service for unlawful content, fraud, abuse, malware distribution, spam, or impersonation.
- You must have the rights needed to use company names, logos, text, and other material published through the service.
- You may only configure health checks or dependency checks for systems and endpoints you are authorized to monitor.
5. Public status pages and complaints
You remain responsible for the material you publish through StatusVanguard, including company names, logos, incidents, maintenance notices, and post-mortems.
By publishing content through the service, you grant the rights necessary for hosting, display, processing, and public delivery of that content within StatusVanguard.
Reports about unlawful public content, abuse, or other legal complaints can be sent to support@statusvanguard.com.
6. Pricing and subscriptions
Draft companies can currently be created without charge. Public activation of a company may require a recurring monthly subscription. The applicable price is shown before checkout.
Checkout, subscriptions, invoices, and billing portal access are handled through Lemon Squeezy acting as merchant of record.
Where available, cancellations and payment-method updates are handled through the Lemon Squeezy billing pages. You can also contact support@statusvanguard.com for billing-related questions.
If a required subscription is not active, StatusVanguard may refuse or revoke public activation features tied to that billing status, and public pages may be taken offline.
7. Consumers and mandatory rights
If you use StatusVanguard as a consumer, mandatory statutory rights, including any rights that cannot be excluded by contract, remain unaffected.
The contract, checkout, and subscription details shown at the time of purchase apply in addition to these terms.
8. Availability, changes, and updates
We aim to operate the service reliably, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed unless separately agreed. Features may evolve, be improved, or be changed where reasonably necessary for technical, legal, security, or operational reasons while respecting mandatory statutory rights.
We may provide security, compatibility, or maintenance updates that are reasonably necessary to keep the service operable and secure.
9. Suspension, moderation, and termination
We may suspend or limit access where this is necessary for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, non-payment, or material breaches of these terms.
This can include taking pages offline, disabling the creation of new companies, blocking monitoring targets, or terminating accounts of repeat abusers.
10. Contract end and data
When a paid activation ends, the related public page can be taken offline immediately or at the end of the paid period linked to the subscription status.
The user account can remain available for up to 1 year to allow reactivation. After that period, the account and related data can be archived and later deleted, subject to legal retention duties.
11. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, and wherever mandatory law requires unlimited liability.
In cases of ordinary negligence, liability is otherwise limited to breaches of essential contractual obligations and to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
12. Consumer dispute resolution
We are not willing and are not obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
13. Governing law
German law applies to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country in which you usually reside remain unaffected where they apply.
